Traveling south on I-25 you will get on I-40 East to exit 196 and turn right onto Hwy 41 South about 27 miles to Hwy 60. Then turn right on Hwy 60 West. Go about 14 miles and turn left at the flashing light. The hotel sits on the right one block down.
The Hotel is tucked in the corner of Hwy 55 and Hwy 60. Mountainair is turning into an arts community. Within miles of the hotel are the Salinas National Monuments, Indian Ruins, ancient cities that have been weathered but show the strengths of an amazing exsistance that was there some hundreds of years ago. There is also a local trail with horseback rides. Establised in 1923 by Clem *Pop* and Lena *Ma* Shaffer. They are said to still mingle with guests over 40 years after their deaths.
