The decor is reminiscent of an Italian countryside restaurant with rich warm hues and accented with oil paintings depicting charming villages and country scenes; on of which is a "ponte vecchio," an "old bridge", from which the restaurant derives its name. Chef/owner Giovanni Hasngjeka's career highlights more than 18 years of culinary experience including his most recent venture, Giovanni's Restaurant in Flemington, NJ, acknowledged by critics as one of Flemington's "gastronomic jewels". His signature selections at Ponte Vecchio include Lobster Ravioli in Champagne sauce, Cotoletta Padina, a grilled double cut veal chop with reduced balsamic vinegar, capers and sprinkles of parmigiano; and Scaloppini Giovanni, sautŽed with chopped shrimp, asparagus in a light tomato sauce.
