Sturgis is located on the eastern side of the Black Hills where several major highways intersect with I-90. It is home to Ft. Meade Veterans Medical Center, Black Hills National Cemetery, Bear Butte State Park, and the National Motorcycle Museum. Sturgis is the host for the annual Balloon Rally, Rodeo, and the largest event in South Dakota, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in August. With its central location, Sturgis has easy access to Deadwood, Spearfish, and Rapid City. It's a great place to stay.
